Design: The rustic black finish of the Blundstone 587 offers a classic yet contemporary look that pairs well with both casual and formal attire. The round toe design provides sufficient space for your toes, enhancing comfort without compromising style.
Durability: These boots feature premium tanned leather and a robust construction that includes twin-needle reinforced stitching. This attention to detail ensures longevity even with regular use. Additionally, the thermo urethane outsole’s resistance to hydrolysis means that this boot can handle wet conditions without deteriorating quickly.
Fit: While the general recommendation is to order a half size up for a wider fit, it's essential to consider your foot shape. The elastic gore does an excellent job of adjusting to different foot sizes, ensuring a snug fit that retains its shape over time.

I rarely write reviews but I had to for these. The core reason I bought these was because I wanted a work boot that was tough but kept me quick enough on my feet where I could easily move. Some work boots are so large and heavy that by the end of the day it requires a decent amount of effort and energy just to walk.I originally purchased these boots when I was working in a salvage shop (basically an indoor junk yard) as a furniture/large and hazardous item mover and I needed a tough pair of boots to protect my feet.I purchased incorrectly and thought these were steel toe boots, they were not but I decided to try them out anyway. These are the most versatile boots I’ve ever owned in my life, they were tough enough to stick together over the months working at the salvage shop and then I moved to working at a Winery during harvest season. 12-16 hour shifts in these boots for months and they never gave me blisters and more importantly never slowed me down and were tough enough to survive being totally soaked with water/grape mush and and then being dried night after night. Now I’m using these boots as a UPS delivery driver(I run/walk constantly all day in them) and they’re still going strong and don’t slow me down at all and are comfortable. This year has been crazy for me, I’ve moved all over the country and had multiple jobs, faced multiple challenges and overcome many obstacles but I could always rely on my two hands and my two boots to keep my two feet moving forward.***TipsI would buy a nice insole for these boots as the ones that come with them are not very supportive.*WATERPROOF??* Try not to be TOO hard on them as I cut the leather slightly while working at the salvage shop thinking they were as thick as my loggers boots (hazardous sharp objects everywhere) and that gave one of the boots a small hole that leaks water. If you are going to work on a fishing boat or expect your feet to be completely soaked or submerged buy “Extra-toug” brand water proof boots instead. These Blundstones are truly water proof (if you don’t rip them) but if you step into water that goes above the ankle or any water going down your leg or water proof coveralls will go right into them because they don’t go up your leg like normal rubber boot. They are not waders. Obviously.Other than that, oil them, love them and measure your foot before you buy them *the manufacturer website has a great “how to guide” that will get you the right size*Couldn’t love these boots enough.
Great boot. well made and comfortable. Good looking suede
These boots are AMAZING. Comfortable beyond expectation. I will caution you to order maybe half a size down. I tried to order a full size down and they were clearly too small both in length and across the instep. I then ordered my usual size (US10.5) and they fit slightly loose, which will be corrected by using the extra insoles provided and simply wearing thicker socks. The exterior nubuck leather is beautiful. My wife commented repeatedly upon unboxing that the rustic black color is perfect and the shape of the boots is visually appealing. I’m currently wearing them at work and my feet feel great. I’ll post another review after a few months of wear.
I normally wear a 10.5 EE (US sizing). The Blundstone website reccomends ordering a half size up when dealing with wide feet and thusly I did so. When I first tried them on they fit perfectly in the toe box, nicely in the width, but were almost cavernous in regards to the depth. Thankfully, the pair I ordered came with a "Multi-fit" insole that solved that problem and with the addition of a slightly thicker pair of socks I have an ideal fit.As for the boots themselves, these are casual "weathered" style boot that are meant to have some imperfections that will only gain character as they age. Meaning the imperfections along the edge of the top of the sole? Those are intentional. The finish of the exterior is also meant to accrue nicks and dings over time that aren't meant to be filled in with traditional leather polish, invest in some mink oil instead. The leather lining on the interior means putting the boots on and taking the boots off will only get easier as they break in and these boots come with an impressive water resistance from the start. In sum: If you have a wide foot and this is your first introduction to this brand/footbed I'd make certain you order a pair that includes the "Multi-fit" insole. It really improved the fit and feel of the boots. Oh, and please remember that this exterior finish is meant to wear so consider buying some mink oil to properly maintain it.
Love these boots and worth the money…. I wear a 6.5 or 7 in shoes (depends on brand). The size 7 works perfectly & comfortable. Wore them all day shopping and I didn’t want to rip them off my feet 👣🤣
It runs short (like at least a size) but the color and weight were wonderful.
The fit of the boot was fine once I got them on. However, the neck of the boot was a little snug and I wrestled with getting them on. But over time it began to loosen. I really like this boot. Good quality. So durable. I wear a women's 9 and the fit is true to size.
I normally wear a 10 1/2 but with these I had to buy a 10 because the 10 1/2 I initially ordered were entirely too big. These are really comfortable, but they still look a little long on my foot but I went hiking in them, and my feet didn’t hurt even though I have gout sometimes when I wear uncomfortable shoes. These are not really my style for every day fashion, cause I kind of look like I’m a construction worker with my jeans on in them , but for hiking and stuff where you don’t want to get your good shoes dirty these work great and they’re easy to clean.
