The Ariat Womens Scout Zip Paddock Boot stands out not only for its aesthetic appeal but also for its thoughtful construction aimed at novice riders. The use of full-grain leather gives the boot a robust feel while ensuring that it remains stylish enough for casual wear outside the stable.
One of the most notable features is the moisture-wicking lining, which actively works to keep your feet dry. This is particularly beneficial during long rides or warm weather. Additionally, the elastic twin gore panels allow for flexibility, making the boot easy to put on and take off.
The 4LR™ technology incorporated into the design provides excellent cushioning and support, which is essential for new riders who may not be accustomed to spending long hours on horseback. The lateral motion control system ensures that you can move freely without sacrificing stability.
However, it's worth noting that some users reported a break-in period, which may be expected with any leather product. While the classic plain toe cap enhances its versatility, some riders might prefer more contemporary designs.
Overall, if you are a beginner looking for a reliable and stylish pair of paddock boots, the Ariat Womens Scout Zip Paddock Boot should certainly be on your radar.

These always have been and always will be my go-to boots.Fit is exactly as expected, very true to size, very comfortable break in very easily (although expect the first or second ride to just be a bit more stiff), and they have never let me down.I had a pair that served me faithfully for a year and a half. They were incredibly durable, broke in perfectly. Absolute staple of my day to day riding. I forgot my work boots at home during some very severe snow, and ended up working in these, and they even stood up to that test as well. Ended up buying a new pair just because the working in them had aesthetically left them a little rugged looking, but my original pair are still kicking and great to have around.Knew when buying a new pair I had to have the exact same kind. Would always recommend Ariat, but love this particular boot more than any other pair I've had of theirs.
My daily riding/schooling boots were worn out, so it was time for a new pair. These broke in much more quickly than I expected – just one day in the barn and in the saddle and they were good to go. The underfoot support is good. Overall, very pleased with these!
This is my second pair of ariat boots and I love them as much as my first. Bought these as a more feminine alternative to Blundstones and I am very satisfied. Buy a 1/2 size up. They are tiny bit tight when you first get them but they stretch fit fit perfectly. Once they are on, they are immediately comfortable. I didn't have to break in my last pair of ariats and I didn't need to break these in either.I am not a horse rider or farmer or anything (equestrian?) but I walk a lot and have a reputation amongst my friends and family for being really hard on shoes. A pair of Dr Martens will last me 4 months maximum. My ariats boots have never served me wrong and my old pair (now about a year and half old) are still going strong. Highly, highly recommend.
These are great work boots for the ranch. Easy to clean, very comfortable and water proof for winter.
After reading feedbacks and asking questions I decided to buy the 7.5 size, which is my true size. I was not going to use them as winter boots or anything so I thought I wouldn't need to wear thick socks. The thing is that the 7.5 boots fit nicely but they are a little tight in the upper and middle part of the boots. I'm hoping they will eventually "break-in/stretch" a little so the tighness goes away, I guess 8 size would have had more space but it would have been too much... or who knows.Anyways the boots are great, the material feels sturdy and they feel great when you walk. Just use thin socks and they'll do.UPDATE: they did stretch a bit and now they are more comfortable. The quality remains the same and I'm quite happy with them.
These will be by far the most comfortable riding with you will ever purchase. I opted in for the try before you buy just because I never purchase this brand before and I will never change. They give me the balance and flexibility I need while riding
I LOVE these boots.
Very nice leather boots for horseback riding. Very comfortable and they seem to be very well made.
