When it comes to comfort, the Ariat Womens Heritage IV excels thanks to its innovative 4LR technology. This feature provides excellent support while ensuring your feet remain cushioned even during extended wear. The All Day Cushioning insole adds an extra layer of comfort that is ideal for those who spend long hours on their feet in the barn or riding.
The inclusion of 200g Thinsulate Insulation is a game-changer for colder months. This material offers superior warmth without adding unnecessary bulk, allowing you to effortlessly transition from barn chores to riding outings without feeling weighed down.
Additionally, the waterproof PRO construction combined with the use of high-quality full-grain leather means that moisture won’t be a concern, making these boots suitable for various weather conditions.
However, it’s worth noting that some users have reported that the boots may require a short break-in period before reaching optimal comfort levels. Also, while they are priced higher than basic paddock boots, the quality and performance justify the investment for serious equestrians.

What can I say, Ariat quality and comfort always gets five stars from me whether buying paddock boots or cowboy boots. Don't hesitate they are worth every penny.
I bought this boot locally a few weeks ago and my Doberman got ahold of them and there was nothing left. I love the boots so much that I ordered the exact same pair off of Amazon. Comfortable, durable and obviously tasty according to my Doberman.
Keep you feet warm and dry and like all arait they are super comfortable.
The boot is waterproof enough for a leather boot (leather is never going to be 100% waterproof), but the fit is a little odd compared to other Ariats. I love the Scout paddock boots for everyday riding, but I wanted warmer/more waterproof for the horrible winter weather. The Scout's always immediately fit great, but these still feel weird after a couple of weeks. I normally wear 8.5, so that's what I got. I honestly can't tell if it's because they run a little big, don't break in as easily, or if they are just bulkier overall (the sole is more solid looking); but I am having a lot more trouble flexing my ankle in them (feels stiffer than the Scouts) and it's hard to get that sweet spot of having the stirrup on the ball of the foot with them (not broken in yet? A little big? Sole is stiffer and bulkier?) Not sure, but I still need to really force my heel with them or ride a horse that's trying to dump me to get my foot in the right place. I hope they feel better over time.
I have been buying these boots for 20 years. They have always fit like a glove. This time, the boots look clunky and large and there is a lot of loose, extra leather around the inside arch. They are no longer attractive and feel too loose. I am very disappointed because these have always been my favorite boots.
These boots are so comfortable and have great ankle support! The upper part of the boots are very tight around the leg so I can't zip them all the way up. I don't have large or thick legs so I think the upper boot needs to be made larger. They are hard to zip but again because the upper part is the boot is so small and tight I can not zip them all the way up.
