I had been looking for booties to replace my Clarks booties and was hesitant at first because these are an inch taller, and the heel is slimmer than my old Clarks. I was stunned at how comfortable these shoes were. I have an office job, so I'm not on my feet all day, but the difference between these shoes and regular heels is notable. I can wear these shoes all day and run errands before/after work, and my feet are not hurting at the end of the day. I will be purchasing more pairs in the future!
The black leather one is gorgeous. My package was totally new and looked/fit just as I hoped. Thumbs up for this new Fall staple.

I love these navy blue booties. I've been looking for navy blue booties forever. You just can't find them, or if you do, they're ugly! I love that they hit below your ankle, otherwise they dig into your ankle bone. I love the heel size - very pretty, and they are truly navy blue. Not midnight blue, or royal blue - they are navy blue! Love love love them! They are true to size as well. I bought them in size 9. I like to wear socks with my boots! I have thicker socks on and they are fine! If I were to wear a thin trouser sock, I may have wanted to get an 8 1/2.
I purchased a first pair of these in a 9, they fit perfectly and I love them. Since I wear them quite often, I purchased a second pair in the same size 9. Recently, I put on the second pair since the first pair was being reheeled, and even though they felt a little tight, I wore them since I was running late. Long story short, I later looked at the size on the bottom of the second pair and each is a size 8, not a 9, even though the box states they are a size 9. And since it is long past any 'try them for a week' window and they have been worn, I will not attempt to return. The lesson here is to check the size on the shoes before wearing and don't simply trust the size on the box - so, I took off one star for that.
These Vince Camuto ankle booties are absolutely gorgeous and I knew I would be happy but I'm not as happy as I should be. So the options were to return them or keep them and rate them accordingly. I am slightly more happy than not, so I am keeping them but not without consequence. For $70+, the discrepancies shouldn't exist. Maybe for a $50 shoe because they are otherwise beautiful and very comfy, but not for $70+. What a shame. You'll have to decide if the chances are worth it.
