I am a teller at a credit union, and spend all day standing on my feet. I have to dress professionally, and I love the look of heels. However, 20 years of working retail in pumps has caused a hammer toe on both feet. These booties are comfortable enough in both width and height, to wear all day. The material is really soft, and the tassels on the laces are super cute. The wedge isn't real wood, but it doesn't look cheap. They do scuff kind of easily though, and I'm wondering how they will hold up over time in wet weather. The sole is rubbery, and slip resistant. I bought an 11 because I was worried about them being too narrow, but I could have gotten away with a 10, as I belive the material would have stretched some over time. Highly recommended for staple peice of your wardrobe as they go with literally everything from dresses and skirts, to slacks and jeans. I'll be buying in more colors for sure!
I have a black pair of Scholl's I bought at a local store and love them because of how comfortable they are. Tried to look for a brown pair with a wedge and these were the closest I could find from what was available. They're cute with the right pair of pants, and possibly a dress, but they're not as comfortable as my black ones. I'm more interested in comfort these days so I hope Scholl's isn't changing their cushion and the way they make shoes now.
elegant, light, comfortable, great look
So I bought a pair over a year ago and they were the best. I have one bad ankle with arthritis and if I wear shoes with no support it hurts. This is my go to shoe and then it feels great. I also have turf tow on my other shoe so it got a bump on the knuckle of my big toe. You don’t really notice it unless you look close so it’s not gross but when you try shoes it now adds another complication to the process. I bought two new pairs on in the color I had and black. My only issue is that the bottom of the show the rubber started to come off but I think it’s because I wore them a lot. I definitely recommend!
I purchased my first pair of these shoes in 2020 in brown suede and they are the most comfortable wedge shoes I have ever worn. I just received my new pair 2 days ago and they are nothing like my first pair. I purchased a grey suede and the material is poor quality to say the least. The shoe has no support on the inside what so ever. The sole looks like it could come off at any moment! My most recent purchase does not live up to the Dr. Scholl's name brand of footwear!
