The leather is great, but the opening of this boot is very hard to get the foot into.
Got these in the black and brown and am very pleased. They fit true to size and are comfortable walking in. Pleased with the purchase. My other Clarks purchases were returned because fit was not true to size-either too small, or too big. They need to do something about quality control on sizing because it is not uniform.
I like the color and style but it’s kind of heavy and the leather is a bit hard so I give 4 star
Great quality and beautiful detail. I chose Dark Brown but they look more maroon in color. Just a heads up.
I have always loved clark shoes! For comfort and how well they were made.. I can say the last pair of clark boots I purchased. Were horrible? The materials were not as nice and they were like cardboard. These ankle boots. Well the leather is bland. Odd I know but it is just off it is a matt leather and the dye looks weird. The instep on top is off too. It is not made as well as Clark use to be. They use to be made in England. I think this is the Chinese version.
I would give it a 5 but the shoes run big and around your entire foot big.Otherwise it is a pretty shoe
