I got these for my 13yo daughter who is an aggressive 14u softball player. She is a lefty & 1st base and R. field. She needed new cleats and we decided to upgrade her to metal spikes so she would have better traction on her leagues hard dirt infields and deep grass outfields. She loves these. Normally she is a 6.5 in womens shoes so I got a 7 for these to have a little room to grow. Very happy I did as they seem to run a bit small- these are snug on her which is comfortable and secure feeling but unfortunately not much room for growth. These will last her thru this season but not much longer. I suggest ordering a full size up if you are getting for a growing kid or 1/2 as size for an adult. She loves how grippy these cleats are vs. her old plastic ones. The boot is also much more snug and stable feeling.Now *DISCLAIMER* - for youth sports players - you will need to make sure your league/age bracket allows metal cleats. She is not an aggressive runner so I dont worry over much about her injuring another player by sliding into them tho it is a risk with metal cleats.

Super confortable, good looking and great grip make these what I think the perfect softball cleat. Not inexpensive, but quality never is. You get what you pay for and here your money is very well spent. The cleat pattern really bites in and allows a firm grip to the field. Really elevates your play.

This pair of Mizuno Women's 9-Spike Swift 8 Low Metal Softball Cleat is really cool shoes, actually my first pair of woman cleats. I have had children cleats, and those have plastic spikes, or as these are metal, which is my first time seeing. Nevertheless, they fit two size, and grabs the Earth pretty well in running, since I don't play softball. They are $105, though, quite pricey but good quality.

These appear to excellent shoes for the upcoming softball season. They construction is top-notch and the fit and finish are great. There is adequate padding inside for game-long comfort.Recommended.
