I bought two styles of the White Mountain lace-up boots (along with some other boots) so I could pick my favorite. I got both the Dorsett and Dorian styles of the White Mountain boots in the black color. I had such a difficult time deciding between these two boots! They are both quite comfortable, which surprised me since the heel is a little higher than I normally like to go. I would say that these two boots feel fairly identical on the foot. They have the same heel height and the same basic shape. They both allow for tightening the boot along the ankle area. The difference in these boots is simply in the finishings. The Dorsett style has a very slightly taller upper. It has a subtle sheen, whereas the Dorian is more matte. The Dorsett has an attractive quilting pattern that is a little dressier (along with the sheen) than the more plain style of the Dorian. The Dorsett has a tab at the back for putting the boot on, and the Dorian does not have the tab. The Dorsett has a seam across the toe and the Dorian does not. The Dorian looks a little less chunky to me than the Dorsett. The toe of the Dorian appears a little narrower, but they literally felt the same on my feet. I briefly entertained the idea of keeping both boots because I loved them so much. But the boots are very similar and I couldn't justify that. In the end, I decided to keep the Dorian as I wanted them to look a little more casual. See pics which show the two boots side by side.
In addition to being very cute, these boots fit well, are comfortable, have decent traction, and are durable.Because of the laces, the fit is adjustable and I found this to be a plus. Ofcourse being zip up boots, once you have the laces adjusted, you can just slip them on.These are one of the best pairs of boots that I have ever owned.
Very cute but disappointed that they sent me the wrong color . I ordered charcoal and got black, as attached in photos . Overall the bottoms are cute and comfortable but wish the color was right .
Purchased these boots for my teenage daughter to wear at a masquerade ball. I was looking for an old-world/Renaissance lace-up style boot. Harder to find than I expected! Most others were over $100 and I wasn't willing to spend that much on a boot that wouldn't be worn very much. These boots appear to be well made and she finds them to be comfortable as well. I would definitely recommend them for anyone looking for this style.
I made the mistake of ordering these in Spring knowing they were Fall boots. They're gorgeous especially for the price. I can't speak on the wearability for longer periods of time but they fit well at first try and almost make me wish Summer was over already so I could wear them!
Absolutely love these heeled boots. I wear them almost every day. Really nice to dress up a simple jean sweater combo. And or jean and edgy top combo with jean jacket. They're tall, but not too tall. And comfortable. I can walk all day in these and forget I have a heel on.
Love these. I have wide feet and they’re very slightly snug but will probably loosen after a while. Super comfortable
Love these boots. They have a good solid sole on them and ate comfortable to wear all day. I am a size 9 and often have a hard time finding shoes that aren't too narrow. These fit perfectly. They arey new favorite pair of boots.
