cute boots but they run small
I wear a Size 10 Wide. I need the width in the toe/front section. The back part of the boot is too wide and slips a bit while walking. I kept them though because they are comfortable, stylish and warm lined and I wasn’t able to find any boots elsewhere. For our Michigan weather, I’ve worn these about six times between December and January.
I have super wide feet - I have to wear a 9 in most shoes, even in "wide" shoes (eyeroll), even though my feet are actually size 7 in length. These are so wide! I have tons of room! I think I got a 7.5 or 8 and I could have sized down even. LOVE them.
I bought 2 pairs of this boot last year. Best boot ever.Disappointed that this purchase was very small. Couldn't even get my foot in even though it was labeled properly.Also difficult to return having to go thru amazon for return label. Difficult to figure out what information the company wanted for a return. Shd have been easy…..was not.
After reading many reviewer complaints about the heal of these boots being too wide, I ordered my normal size 8.5 in both regular and narrow width. The regular was in fact too wide and caused my heal to slip out way too much when I walked (go figure). The narrow width seemed to eliminate that issue with the heal but fits a bit too snug in the toe area for my liking. Kind of a loosing battle either way. I love the style of this boot a lot so I did end up keeping the narrow ones but overall, the comfort and quality are not worthy of what these boots cost.
I wear these boots all the time since I purchased them. They are so comfortable and easy to slip on. I purchased the Wide because I have wide feet but the regular would have fit fine. Still kept them, however. Used them on a trip where we spent most time walking and my fit were fine the whole time.
Trotters make the best winter boots. These are durable and great in all weather. I have a pair that started off as everyday fashion and 2 years later I am still wearing them. Just got in black and brown and already had grey. I hope they don't stop making them. I have hard-to-fit feet and luckily Trotter makes wide boots for small feet. Would buy these again and again and I have.
