These shoes are very durable and fit true to size. They are made with quality construction and materials that wear well over time. Would definitely purchase again!
I have taken out time to check other sites for reviews of this exact boot. The first thing others have said is "they run big" so wear thick socks. The second issue is: they have no insulation, for cold weather comfort.To address the first problem: Actually they run true to whole sizes, and half sizes go down to the next whole size. I normally wear a 7.5, and I ordered the size 8. They were... ah no keepn'nem, too big. At least a half an inch all they way around.The fit is more like a DD widthIf you prefer the a really roomy fit, like a rain boot; the half size up from 7.5 to an 8, will suit you. But remember this shoe has no shaft like an ankle boot, or a tall shafted boot does. Therefore you might be spending more time trying to keep them on your feet, while walking.I will update to let you know how the 7 fit.UPDATE: 10/11/2011...I tried on the size 7 in the store, and it does fit better; but not good enough for me though. Thick socks are a must. The rubber is very soft. The shoe offers very little support.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------UPDATE: 10/8/2011...I decided to go with S.T-sider, Cormorant- Extremely comfortable, and sizing is true.
Was getting tired of walking the dog in the rain in soaked shoes and I thought these would be a nice switch, but I was really disappointed. They are very cheaply made and they look it. My first clue should have been the prominent "made in China" noted on teh shoe. I ordered the 7 since I normally wear a 6.5. It was huge. Actually, lengthwise it was fine. There was no way I'd fit the size 6, but way, way, WAY too wide. Even with thick socks, I'd be floating around in these shoes. So, sadly, they are going back and I'm going to try similar shoes from Columbia and Sketchers.
The shoes are a really nice quality but I realized they are not my style,The 2 stars is because they are not my style only. I bought thinking they would be great for rain, but I never used them because I ended wearing my boots instead. I tried these on and felt like a nature buff which I love nature but not these shoes. I need to say again these shoes are great for the right person but I am more of a mid heel to higher heel girl and my black tennis shoes.
I love my rain boots!!! Comfortable, durable, cute and cost effective. This product is as described. This is one of my favorite shoes. It does a great job at keeping my feet dry when it rains and it's comfortable to wear all day. Every time I wear these I get compliments.
These shoes are perfect for the rainy coast of Oregon. They are very comfortabe, and cute. Easy to slip on to run errands or go out in yard. Easy to keep clean.
My wife said that she could not find these anywhere so I purchased these and she was happy with them
Good product, except for the after service. Still waiting for the proper insoles. The original insoles had the word "Sporto" on them, and the letters transfered onto my wife's white socks. Called the company, and after about 3 weeks +, still waiting!!!
