So cute and comfortable but too long. This was my first pair of SoftWalk shoes and I normally wear an 8.5 W or XW in other brands. I ordered these in 8.5XW and they were too long and there is no 8XW available. I ended up ordering another SoftWalk style in 8XW and they fit perfectly. Now I know for future reference to order an 8XW when ordering this brand.
I had been looking for some nice fitting over the ankle boots, with about a 1" heel for quite some time, so was tickled when I found these. They are a very nice boot, well made, with some nice support in the insole. The leather is soft and molds quickly and easily to your foot so there is not a lot of break in. The only reason I am not giving them a 5 star rating is that I really wanted something with a little more ankle support than these provide. Yes, over the ankle keeps the snow out of my shoes, but if I have to walk very far or be on my feet they aren't quite enough support.
The shoes are just what I wanted! The style is super cute, the arch support is great, I don't think they look cheap. They are very comfortable but, I'd you have a high instep expect a bit if break in. They are a little tight but I expect they will loosen up with some wear!
I need a wider shoe and higher toe box and this shoe works well for that. My feet are hard to fit..one is 6.5 and the other is 7. Wide is a little too wide, but medium, a little too narrow. So this shoe fits large. I compensate with thicker socks. I like the style. I also like that fact that you can cover some ground in these shoes. Comfortable right out of the box.
These worked for me because my feet are only slightly wide. The boots are beautiful to look at, well made, and seem to made of quality materials. For a wide shoe/boot, however, some people might not feel they are wide enough.
These boots should be taken off the market. I have only worn these boots about 4 times. My office building and apartment building are carpeted. I walked through parking lot at work and/or home those 4 times. I haven't gone on any long walks in them and the back of the heels on both shoes are completely worn down already. They are cute and very comfortable however very shoddy materials.
ok, first of all, the folks who says they look cheap are right, they used a textured leather that just doesn't LOOK quality, and the soles are rubber. BUT that leather is very soft and flexes around my feet, and the rubber soles will lend some extra bounce to my step.I got my normal size in a Wide, with the soft leather I might've been able to get away with a regular, but I have a NEUROMA so wider is better. If you're skimming for that magic word, yes, these are good shoes for you! so soft and cushy, they're the first pair I've worn in ages that didn't hurt! They were my backup choice for a special event in case my first-choice didn't fit, and now I just want to keep them!
I have a very narrow foot with a really high arch - for my foot these are perfect! Good arch support, good padding.. I recently took this ona weekend trip and didn't expect to do much walking, wound up walking all over Memphis - no problems at all. I LOVE these boots. Thisis my second pair since the first ones were so comfortable.
