I have very wide feet and I haven't been able to find a pair of boots that fit for years. I did not have high high hopes for these since they were pretty cheap, but they were so cute I gave them a shot. I'm so glad I did! They are wide enough and pretty comfortable. They don't have much arch support but an insole could fix that. They look just like the picture.

Pros: these are true to size. They are not too snug or too big. I have six pairs in different colors. They are rounded in the toe box. This type of boot was impossible for me to find. In fact, the only boot on amazon that i found like this. The rest are ALL pointed toe even though the picture shows otherwise. I dont like this look at all. These are funky cool hip and just plain awesome. They make every single outfit look great. Ive had younger women ask where I got them and Im in my forties.I dont lace them all the way up. I leave the last three holes without the laces, pull the tongue out a bit for a loose look. I like the lace straight lined like a ladder. Not criss cross. It makes the boot so much more attractive. I also cut the laces because they are too long and again look more attractive. They are very very affordable.The amount of colors they offer is pretty cool. Where else can you find navy and forest green?Cons: because they are on the cheaper side, they aren’t the best quality. But a pro for me on this issue is I buy doubles on the colors I like. Which is the whiskey brown and regular black. They arent for walking long distances. They will get uncomfortable. Unless you wear thicker socks but the bottoms may come undone like the pictures depict on some reviews. The lighter color ones dont look cute or nice. They fold and kind of buckle when you look at the boot from the side. Its more noticeable. Kind of like bunched up socks. Thats a big no for me.I would recommend them. They aren’t expensive and rock with any outit. Sweaters. T shirts. Tunics. Dresses. Dresses with jeans. Ive worn them all styles. And the plain black one is my favorite. It goes with everything.
I’ve wanted docs for a longgg timeee. I got some and they were the most uncomfy things ever. But these are comfy, easy to put on, and literallyyyy so cute. I am so excited it’s so crazy stawpppp. Please buy.
When you are hoping to give your grand daughter a gift she'll actually like, you look for signs she's actually happy with the gift and not just being polite to not hurt your feelings. When she opened the box with these boots, she exclaimed "cool!", put them on and never took them off the rest of her visit. Score. Direct hit. The sizing was accurate, and the faux patent pleather alligator seems durable, similar to Chlorofram dress shoes. Money well spent.
It's been so hard for me to find boots that fit wide ankles and wide calves. These have a zip up side but you can loosen the laces and make adjustments so they fit well. The lowest part of the boot and smallest part of my ankle has a 10" circumference, and the highest part of the boot and biggest part of my ankle/lower calf is 13.5" and it could fit larger ankles. Probably around 15.5" before you would start seeing your skin or socks/pants on either side of the tongue.Aside from that they are pretty comfortable. Not amazing, but a shoe I could probably walk around in for hours without feeling like I need to sit down or take them off. I just got them and I've been wearing them around for the last 2 hours with no issue so far. I'll update at a later time when I break them in or if I have any issues.
First off, I was brand new to these types of boots/shoes. I was only wearing sneakers and/or hiking boots before.Now, I love these boots. They fit my orthotics perfectly. I love the side zipper and still have the shoe laces to adjust the fit of the shoe around my feet (or thickness of my socks). All so perfect.BUT…the soles are crap. The listing says “faux rubber”, which I guess means plastic? Whatever it is, it’s really slippery on any smooth surfaces. I can literally ‘skate’ across the floor while grocery shopping and pushing the cart. Not very safe to wear at work.So these shoes should be considered for fashion only if you want them to last longer than a few (3-4) months. The soles of my shoes broke all the way through to the foot pad on one of them and the other one has a hairline fracture starting to happen. I got them in Nov ‘23. Granted these shoes have become my everyday shoes, which also included becoming snowshoes during this last winter, so I’m sure that didn’t help its longevity. I’ve already tried fixing the huge crack with shoe glue, but it broke again within a day.My actual star review amount would be 3 1/2 and the recommendation that these shoes should be for fashion only. But they did let me experience these new types of shoes, which I’ll try out with different brands in the future.
