I bought these for an Alaskan cruise. They were lightweight which was important for packing as well as wearing. They were waterproof, which worked well on the rainy days and kept my feet warm. I wore Merino wool socks with them.
Took a chance because I needed them quick for a trip and they are so comfy and didNot disappoint. They were awesome and great for a water excursions while in Alaska but comfy enough to wear in the plane
I like how this shoe looks on my feet. It’s lightweight, though it seems a little smaller than expected. Although it’s a snug fit, I’m fine with it. It’s raining outside today, so I’ll try it out.
Love theses boots. If you want boots that are for colder weather, these are not what you want.
Bought as a gift. True to size. Comfortable and keep her feet dry. She also says they are cute.
I wear a size 9 (U.S.) and ordered a size 9, but these don't fit MY size 9 feet. And I really wish they did because they are nice looking boots and would do me well for the mud I have to traipse through.
I've got horses and right now I've got mud. If there's one thing I hate it's slogging through mud. If there's another thing I hate, it's loose boots that pull my socks down to bunch up under my feet.I got these boots because of the laces and along with the comfy fit these are almost perfect boots. I say 'almost' because they are missing one thing: the pull tab at the back. I bought the boots a half size larger than normal so I could wear double socks but even so, getting the boots on over the layers is a trial because the inner flannel lining doesn't allow the foot to slip in and there is no pull tab at the back of the boot to help get them on. I have to use a shoe horn, a minor inconvenience that detracts from these otherwise perfect barn boots.(Note that Skechers offers a slip-on duck boot that does have the pull-tab -- I can't understand why they didn't with these boots).
Should have taken heed on what others have said, the soles are very thin. Would need to add an insert to make it more comfortable. Others have also stated to size up. Since I'm a 7.5, I went with an 8 and the fit was right. I had bought this and a pair from Mishansha. Ultimately returned the Sketchers because 1) Mishansha has thicker soles and thicker fur lining that extends all the way to the toe box while the Sketcher didn't have thick lining all the way to the toe box so feet will be cold. 2) The wedge heel on the Sketchers seems thin and won't handle wear well. One reviewer posted a photo showing the heel all worn and exposing a grid frame and holes. I tried pressing in on the heel and felt some give into those holes. 3) The traction on the sole of Mishansha seems better than the Sketchers.
