Love everything about this boot: fit, light weight, ease of cleaning, very supportive for walking or hiking & Amazon had the best price. Best value for my money. Great looking on my size 12W foot. I’m ready for my travels to Italy!
I hiked four national parks in four days with these right out of the box! No break-in needed. These weren't the first hikers I bought but they are the ones I chose to wear on my trip. (The sketchers are still in the box) My others weighed twice as much and were half as comfortable. It was like putting on my most comfortable sneakers but with the support and grip I needed to hike the Grand Canyon. My feet never fatigued or ached even after an eight and a half mile hike. I couldn't have been more pleased. Plus they are really nice looking which was a bonus. I will be buying another pair!
I was trying to purchase a pair of hiking boots for a trekking trip in Uganda. I ordered 10 different pairs from Amazon, from known brands to unknown and none fit or were comfortable. I had to return all. I came across these Ryka's by accident. I have worn Ryka's since the late 80's for sneakers but didn't have any idea they had hiking boots and shoes. I am now the proud owner of these hiking boots and a pair of eco trek hiking shoes. The boots are so light weight and comfortable. They wear more like a sneaker. They were durable and the treads perfect. I usually wear a size 6 and ordered both the 6 and 6.5. They both would work but I kept the 6's. Unlike the other boot companies, these are true to US sizes and not EU/ UK sizes which I cannot wear. I highly recommend and will not hesitate to purchase again.
The toe box is ample and a comfortable fit
I am so happy with these shoes! I wanted something suitable for light hiking but comfortable like a running shoe. And I wanted a style that wouldn’t look clunky and out of place off the trail as I travel a lot and need my shoes to be suitable for multiple scenarios. These were perfect for a casual weekend trip to the Grand Canyon. I walked/hiked 15 miles in them right out of the box with no issues. Decent traction in icy/snowy conditions (better than a sneaker, maybe not quite as good as my Columbia hiking boots). They kept my feet warm and dry in the cold and snow, but didn’t overheat in warmer temps.I have “duck feet” (wide and flat) and generally wear a 6.5 wide. I ordered a 7 wide and had enough room for thick wool socks but wore them comfortably with regular socks. I prefer a higher midsole drop, these were as comfortable as my Brooks running shoes. Overall, a perfect unicorn shoe and I’m incredibly happy with them!
Love the quality, style, fit, and function. Hiked Alaska and all through the northwest with nothing but comfort and dry feet. What a deal! Highly recommend!!
These boots became very loose and baggy after a day of hiking. My feet felt very tired and unsupported. They are cute, but not very functional for "real" hiking.
I absolutely love these sneakers. I wear them all the time. They are extremely comfortable right out of the box. I have several pairs in the different colors. I’m glad I got several pair since it looks like they are being discontinued.😖 I had an ankle injury many years ago so these give excellent support since they are higher than regular sneakers. They run true to size but I ordered up a half size and the fit is perfect.
