The Ryka Women's Brae Snow Boot excels in multiple categories. Its construction starts with a water-repellent upper, which is crucial for maintaining dry feet during unexpected snow showers or slushy puddles. The microsuede overlays not only add style but also provide structural integrity, making these boots both fashionable and functional.
When it comes to comfort, the cushy Plush Fit collar and Surround Fit insole ensure that every step feels cushioned and supportive. You'll appreciate the way the EVA midsole with RE-ZORB® technology absorbs impacts, allowing you to walk longer distances without discomfort. This feature is particularly beneficial if you find yourself navigating through deeper snow or uneven terrains.
Moreover, the slip-on fit combined with an adjustable toggle lets you customize the boot's snugness, accommodating various foot shapes and sizes. The calf-high shaft with a circumference of 7.95 inches provides ample coverage, making sure your legs stay warm as well.
The durability of the TPR plate outsole further enhances the boot's reliability, ensuring that it withstands the rigorous demands of winter wear. Whether you're taking a stroll in the park or heading out for a winter adventure, these boots are built to last.
However, it's worth noting that some users report that the boots may need a slight break-in period for maximum comfort. Additionally, the range of colors might feel limiting for those seeking more variety in their winter gear.

✅ Supportive (can also remove the insole and put in my own orthotics if needed but it’s already supportive without doing that)✅ Comfortable✅ Slip on and off easily without fussing with shoelaces✅ Cute sporty boot✅ Water repellant and warm✅ Not fur-linedI am a Fitness instructor in the Pacific Northwest. Which means it rains most of the year, but doesn’t necessarily get frigid temperatures outside, AND I take my shoes off everywhere I go, either to teach a barefoot Balance class or to put on other class-specific shoes (such as Zumba shoes for dance fitness or my Nike Metcon Free for CrossFit classes or functional Kettlebell work). I wanted a water resistant boot that looked more sporty like a tennis shoe, AND wanted it to be slip on and off, AND water resistant (but not fur lined and thus, too hot inside), AND supportive/comfy. I needed something to replace my cheap Khombu “Alta Sport Boot” that I got at Costco years ago (can’t find them anymore) that were just cute and perfect for my needs (although not very supportive). Wore them for years! Knowing I had a pair of Rykas for dance fitness many years ago and remember loving them for their comfort and support and durability, I wanted to see if Rykä had something that checked all the boxes, I found these Brae boots. Just got them and love them already! Can’t wait to wear them all winter!
I wore it for the first time on a 4 mile morning hike today. It was supposed to rain in the afternoon, so I wore it out of caution. Well, the only things that were dry after the hike were my feet! The weatherman was once again wrong and it rained on us this morning--glad I wore these boots! They're easy to put on and they are comfortable and kept my ankles warm! I felt like I've worn them for months because they didn't need breaking in. I'm glad I bought them!
Comfortable, waterproof, windproof, warm. Wore well through the weathers in Iceland. Just wish the adjustable tie could get tighter and they had a bit more support in the soles/balls of the feet. Sized up half size so I could wear wool socks with it.
These boots are great for winter, they are not big and heavy! They are as comfortable as a sneaker but they keep the slush/ snow at bay!
They are super soft and squishy all over, not at all like a typical boot. More like a puffy coat for your feet. I have them in black and they look a bit more like high top sneakers on than boots. I don’t even care. They slip on easily for running out the door, they’re comfy. I’ve worn them through snow and light rain with no issues. Fits true to size with and without normal socks (haven’t tried any thick socks so can’t speak to that). I love that I don’t have to tie them and I can easily slip them on. GET THEM!
With my high arches/high insteps I couldn't get in these boots! If only one could separate the laces to open the shoes! Shame on Ryka for such poor design!
These are like the old comfy pair of slippers you’ve had for years !! No break-in time needed with these and also I put them to the test wearing them in the cold slushy storm and my feet were dry when I took them off. Easy on & off unlike other boots I’ve owned
I love Ryka shoes they are very comfortable. These boots look good and are comfortable. Unfortunately within less than one month the boots have been worn about 10 times the material is already ripped and pulling away near the laces. It’s very unfortunate.
