These beautiful boots were meant to be worn and kept polished with the many others l have. Unfortunately, l was wearing them while doing yard work. They are so comfortable, l forgot l had them on! Long story short, they became my work boots for summer and fall and took a serious beating. But, despite the mud, water, paint, grease and rocks, they held up amazingly. After a heavy duty cleaning and quick polish, they look like new. I definitely recommend these boots but please don’t make the mistake l did and use them for landscaping. They are much too pretty and should be worn with pride.
one of these things is not like the other!!! how do the boots that were sent to me even remotely resemble the ones advertised? i don't understand how they could look at the ones they sent and say "yep, that looks about right and totally like the image we posted on amazon". do not buy these boots if you want something that looks like the pic in the product description. this is pretty shady. oh, and they're HUGE! not only is the length too big, there is so much space around your ankle that not even 15 socks would fill.
These boots are truly beautiful!!! This is the second pair I have ordered from this brand. I wore the shorter (ankle length) pair out Saturday night to a line dancing event and got tons of compliments! Additionally, they are sooo comfortable. As such, I ordered this pair as well!!These boots apparently consistently run half a size too large. I usually wear a size 9 but for both pairs size 8.5 fits perfectly!!The craftsmanship of these boots is top-notch and just exquisite; the leather is so soft too!! I currently have them perched on a ledge in my house so I can look at them and admire them as I walk by which is what I did just before leaving this review!
Great books and color. It fit true to size. I wear a 7.5 sometimes and 8 depending on how narrow a boot is. Even with me having narrow feet. I tried it on without socks and it fit exactly. With a sock not to thick it will still be comfortable. Will look amazing with jeans (skinny/fitted jeans). Not sure it will work well with wide length jeans as I tried that and the top of boot was visible thru the jeans keep in my mind they were fitted wide length jeans I tried it with. It would look good with boot cut jeans however, it would have to be long length and loose jeans in the area in which the top of boot is. Otherwise you will see the imprint of the boot outside of the jeans. Otherwise the boots are fantastic and plan to wear it with fitted skinny jeans or even a cute maxi dress or skirt. If you have a sense of style you will certainly know what to pair these boots with. I'm happy with my purchase. Now I just have to find boot cut jeans that are fitted in the hips and thighs but loose towards the bottom were the boot begins underneath the jeans. Hope this helps someone. Happy purchasing!!
I love these boots! They fit perfect on my wide feet and are comfortable for all day wearing. My only complaint would have to be there isnt a rubber coating on the main part of the boot. I can see this wearing out before the rest of the boot. Ive wore these like crazy since I bought them and they are holding up very well and look amazing!
Very uncomfortable and hard to break in. I got a half size bigger and they still hurt. They're definitely not leather and resemble wood paneling from the basements of homes in the 70s. The only neat thing is the chain but that's rusting and I'm sure it'll break anytime. Not worth $80.
I’ve worn Ropers for many years. I really didn’t think they would fit correctly, I ordered a size 7. Of course they need a little breaking in, I didn’t have any problems getting them on. And the price was right. I would highly recommend.
Ordered a women's size 11. I've ordered other Roper boots (women's 11) in the past and never had a problem. I love Roper boots because they are cute, comfy and affordable. I have 4 pairs. Too bad what they sent was maybe a girls 11 marked and tagged as a women's 11. I knew the minute i opened the box there was no way these would fit. Someone really needs to check what's in these boxes. Maybe these are Korean sizing? Lol. Sending back.
