I got these to wear to a fancy dinner with slacks and they looked perfect. Once they're broken in I plan to wear them often. The fit is just right with nylons or thin socks, and they're very comfortable. Highly recommend.
I had to return because they were to narrow but other then that they are a nice boot!!
The boots look lovely, and the width seemed true to size - I ordered them so I could fit my slightly wider-than-average insoles inside. BUT for a company seeming to specialize in extended widths, I was surprised to find that the ANKLE of the boot was not wide at all. I don't have wide ankles and found it an issue both visually and in comfort (they would have rubbed my ankles raw on all sides). Very disappointing.
These boots look great. I received many complements when I wore them. They are very comfortable, although I did add arch support inserts. The only thing I do not like is the ankles are very tight. Considering the width of the shoe, I expected the ankle to be a bit wider. I purchased extra wide because one ankle is larger due to an accident. I'm not able to fully zip up the boot on that ankle. The lower part of the boot fits perfectly but the ankles are too tight, even on my normal-sized ankle. Because they are comfortable and attractive I am keeping them.
I hate bunions. It’s so hard to find shoes that don’t hurt or look ugly. These don’t hurt and I actually get compliments on them. I’ll probably buy insoles to add cushioning and support. I bought extra wide and they seem more like wide, but width is so inconsistent across shoes and brands that I don’t even know what’s true to width.
The material (whatever it is, probably not real leather) folds at the top of my foot whenever I walk. Very uncomfortable. If the material was thicker or better quality, this wouldn't be happening.
Unfortunately I had to return as they did not fit. They are nice looking, tho, and seem to be quality made. Did not reorder as found a pair I liked near by.
Not wide enough in the toe box, returned.
