After I had my daughter, my feet suddenly had a very high instep. They weren't swollen. They had just changed shape. It was to the point where I could not get any shoes on my foot at all. I searched websites for high instep shoes and couldn't find any within my price range. ZERO boots at DSW fit me at all. However, after reading reviews on this pair, I decided to finally give them a try. I am a 9W, but I bought these big on purpose just to fit the top of my feet (9.5 Extra Wide). Just in time for the blizzard, I finally have waterproof boots that fit and are warm. Thank you, Propet!
Tried 9W and 9 1/2 regular. 9W could not even get foot into. 9 1/2 was OK, just a little tight in width but definitely wearable. These are heavy duty boots, perfect for winter shoveling, feeding birds, etc., as long as the snow isn't too deep.
They fit perfectly
These are cute, I really wanted to like them, and I really need boots, but I couldn’t even get my foot into one. The zipper doesn’t go down low enough, and the upper boot material is stiff and heavy, not flexible. I literally couldn’t even try them on. They’re going back. :-(
These were large for my feet. I normally wear a 5.5 but these were like boats on me. I wore them with a pair of very heavy wool winter socks and they still were too big, causing the heel to rub as I walked across the floor. Had to return these.
I’m an overweight woman with wide feet, high arches and high insteps. I tried maybe TEN PAIRS of boots before ordering these. I usually wear either a 7 wide or 7.5 wide, but was finding the single wide sizes still a bit narrow. I was going to order a 7.5 EE (2X wide), but they were out of those, so I tried a 7.5EEE (3X wide). The boots are awesome quality and super comfy. They are a bit too wide (can’t believe I’m saying that, haha), and my feet do slide around a bit in them. I might exchange for the EE when they get them in stock.Overall, if you have a big boobs/belly and have trouble bending over to put your boots on, try these! They’re really easy to get on/off, which is awesome!!!! 😊
I really like these boots but they are quite heavy. I chose the 2E so I could put an arch support w heel cushion for my plantars fasciitis. My toes were a bit cold after 2hrs in the cold and I had 2 pairs of socks on. But feet, ankles, legs didn't hurt from the standing.
I live in VT and needed something easy to take on and off at clients homes. They’re absolutely perfect, incredibly warm and so happy with the wide width - perfect with extra thick wool socks!
