In terms of comfort, the Luna Boot does not disappoint. The flexible sole adapts well to your foot’s movement, which is particularly beneficial for long days on your feet. While some users report that they may need to wear the boots a few times before achieving maximum comfort, the initial snug fit is often welcomed by those who prefer a secure feel.
The material quality of these boots is commendable. The full-grain leather gives it a refined look while ensuring long-term durability. As an imported product, Miz Mooz has maintained high standards in their craftsmanship, which is evident in the stitching and overall finish.
In terms of versatility, these boots can easily shift from day to night. Pair them with jeans for a laid-back look, or dress them up with a skirt for a more polished appearance. The ankle-high shaft allows for easy pairing with various trouser styles.

However, if you're looking for a wide selection of colors, you might be a bit disappointed, as the Luna Boot primarily comes in black. Additionally, keep in mind that some individuals may experience a break-in period, so patience is key.

I have been searching for a quality pair of leather boots for over a year. I bought and returned nearly 10 pairs. For each pair, I either couldn't squeeze my foot into them or they were just too uncomfortable and squeezed my toes. I normally wear a size 10 in women's and sometimes need wide shoes. The double zipper on these boots is perfect. It gives me enough space to put my foot in the boot, while also giving them a unique, stylish look. I love the soft leather and the unique color options. I ended up choosing the Ocean color. It's dark enough to go with most outfits with just a hint of standout color.I do feel like the footbed is a bit stiff and I may need to add a more comfortable insert as I wear them in. I also wouldn't mind a touch more room across my toes. In the meantime, I am just ecstatic to have found a pair of feminine, stylish boots that fit my feet.
This is a review for Miz Mooz Women's Luna Ankle Boot, black, size 11. I was on the hunt for the "Little Black Boot". I'm not normally a "bootie" wearer- I find them obnoxious most of the time because of the shaft, usually just too wide and clunky looking- but most of the boots I have are tall- all I wanted was a boot that fit close to my relatively thin legs, that wasn't more than a 2 inch heel that could go under straightleg or bootcut jeans without looking funny- but if I wanted to I could wear them without cover and they'd still look cool. For whatever reason I wear size 10 in most everything shoe related but when it comes to boots I typically have to size up, this is normally because of how boots are often pointed, heeled or I think in this case have a smaller/flatter toe box (for purposes of this review I have a flat or low arched foot- I find Converse All Stars very comfortable for your comparison)- I saw a review for a fellow 10 and saw she wished she'd sized up for a little more room so I figured I'd have to go with the 11 as usual. When I first got them out of the box, being relatively flat boots I thought- oh no, there's no way I'm going to fit in these boots they looked small. I unzipped the 2 zippers (yes they both come down) and put my bigger foot in- I was shocked. I mean seriously shocked- instantly knew it fit my foot very nicely. Put my smaller foot in and while sometimes it can be an issue if my other foot fits so well -it was absolutely not an issue- they were great. My feet looked tiny under my bootcut jeans (well, tiny for ME). They fit perfectly and were EXACTLY what I was looking for in an everyday fall/winterwear boot under jeans. I thought the other problem I'd have is grip- figured these might have slippery soles- nope- and they soles are nice and flexible- like I'd been wearing them forever. Zippers stayed put. Wore them and didn't even think about them that's how great they felt. I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY like these boots, at just under $160, they were worth it.
UPDATE: The new pair in size 6 fits great. They still have a little extra room but in a good way. There is plenty of room in the toebox and they are quite comfortable.I ordered these boots in purple and loved them. They were absolutely beautiful - the leather is soft and lovely, the sole is made of a nice flexible material, and I liked the double zippers. Unfortunately, they were WAY too big. Even wearing thicker socks would not have helped. I wear size 6.5, which is what I ordered. I sent them back and have just ordered a 6, the smallest size they have. I’m hoping these will be a better fit – fingers crossed! I gave them four stars only because the sizing is way off and other comments said the same thing. Otherwise, they are wonderful boots.
Usually wear a 8-9 (sometimes wide depending on brand) so I first tried the 8.5 - (note: keep the UPS box or else you're paying $13 at UPS to send back) and they were WAY too short/narrow, I went up to 9.5 and these are perfect. I saw complaints about breaking the zipper but as long as you are mink oiling these up and not tearing at them I can't see myself having any issues. Get compliments on these every time I wear them and they go with ALL cuts of jeans (FINALLY!), leggings, skirts and dresses.Do mink oil them - makes them softer, more water resilient and you'll have these for many many years. Well done!
The boots were gorgeous, good quality leather, the right one just wouldn’t fit due to an old injury to my ankle. I was so disappointed when I had to send them back.
I have a very high arch and slightly wide foot, so finding boots can be difficult. I also live in an area where I have to walk a lot and may of the walkable surfaces in the wintertime are slippery/ice covered. I ordered a few pairs of boots and didn't expect these to be the ones to work the best (compared to Teva, Merrell, and Earth). While Merrell fit very comfortably and had a great sole, the boots were a little bulky and I'd be tempted to change them once I got to the office. I don't have to worry about that with these boots. These boots are awesome. They are made in Portugal and the leather is so soft. When I took them out of the box, I could not stop touching them -- the leather was that soft! Typically I order a half-size up in boots, but my normal shoe size fit great with these. Also, having two workable zippers is something I never thought I'd want, but it's really handy. I typically only use one side on a daily basis, but it can be handy to have for super thick wool socks. I've been wearing the boots daily at work, including walking miles on Chicago streets, and they've held up quite nicely, barely showing any wear. They have no insulation and not a ton of visible support, but somehow they're still extremely comfortable. If I still lived in the snowbelt of NY, I probably would not use them in the winter because these are definitely not snow boots and not intended for wearing them in the snow. The two times that we had snow and they got on the boot/zipper, my feet got cold. But I didn't have that problem when I was just wearing them to walk on icy sidewalks. (You still need to walk cautiously on ice, though, no boot can save you from a careless fall!) I'm going to consider buying more shoes from this maker because I'm so impressed!
These are great! Comfortable, classy, goes with everything. Great investment!
