I received these for Christmas 2022. On the ankle strap screws and nuts hold the strap in place. First day of wearing them one side fell off. My husband removed both sets of straps then because the screws and nuts were too tiny to replace.. Now the shoes don't look right. If I could have replacements of four sets of screws and nuts, I would love the shoes!
The metal spur looking thing broke after 3 times wearing them. So disappointed. They were a gift from my husband for Christmas. I went in and the Amazon site would not let me return or do anything. They were not cheap.
I originally bought this item as a Christmas gift for my wife. When I went to wrap it it I notice that the decorative strap was broken. I returned it and requested a replacement. This time when the replacement arrived the strap on both boots was broken.
I love Franco Sarto brand shoes. I saw these boots and knew I had to have them. Love the Cognac color. The leather is beautiful quality (not stiff) and the boots fit like a glove. I normally wear a 9.5M but ordered these in 10M. Love the strap and the secret pocket inside one of the boots. I saw comments that people had issues with the strap breaking off or receiving damaged. Mine arrived fine.
