This is my second pair! Very comfortable and sturdy (not tippy like some). I work on my feet all day and can wear these with zero discomfort - feels like your walking on a regular flat shoe. Super cute style with the ties in back. Also, while I don't feel there is much arch support, it doesn't seem to affect the comfort of the shoe. Anyway, I normally wear size 9-9.5 depending on shoe. I also have narrow feet. My first pair was a 40 and this pair I purchased a 39 as a 40 wasn't available. To compare: Size 40 is more of a 9.5 -- for me, it had a bit of extra room in toe area, so I added an insert and it fit perfectly and the added cushion was nice (although you don't need it). Size 39 fits perfectly, so I'd say it's a true size 9. However, if I wanted to add an insert, it would be too tight. So I will keep the 39, but ultimately I prefer the 40. I believe they run a bit narrow, so I recommend going up a size if you like wearing an insert or thicker sock. And if you have wide feet, definitely go up a size. For really wide feet, I'm not sure this would be a shoe for you, at least in this style.
These boots fit great and look adorable. Because they fit to your ankle they look everybit as good with a skirt, dress or shirts as with trousers. They are extremely comfortable. As a short girl I appreciate the extra height. Note: I have thin ankle. Not sure if they would fit as well if your ankle are thicker Because of how the ties fit the boot to the foot
After years of horrific foot pain from psoriatic arthritis, I have finally found a treatment that allows me to walk again but I still have to choose my shoes very carefully. I mostly wear the FitFlop brand which works great for me but I wanted something more stylish. I decided to try Fly London and I'm very impressed. Not only can I handle the heel height well (haven't worn heels in 3 years), but they are just so cute and comfy. I don't think I could do a long day of shopping in them but standing all night at a Christmas party was totally doable and I laughed to myself about all the other women in heels who were in pain and for once I was fine! My boots have a made in Portugal tag which I was pleased about.
Love these...I have plantar fasciitis and these were comfortable right out of the box, the cant is not too steep for bad knees, and they are just plain cute. I can even fit my orthotics and have plenty of room. Fly sizing is all over the place but this particular pair fits perfect. Lining is soft, the suede is durable but soft, and even if they are oiled I waterproofed them anyways. The laces in the back are flimsy (one started shredding the first time I wore them, from driving) so those will be replaced, otherwise, great boots.
I wanted these in the sludge colored suede as I thought they would be a terrific fall/winter neutral for my daily casual 'uniform'; whether its' boyfriend rolled up jeans, leggings, super straight legs, or a skirt...and I was right, these will be part of the daily uniform. I wear a true size 8 in all shoes, if I order Fly London in size 38, they fit, but are snug and not good with the thick rag wool socks I like to wear in Wisconsin, the size 39 clearly states 8 to 8.5 so I know I am getting something a tad large for me, but with the thick socks, it works and lets face it, these are just such great looking shoes, super comfortable, and I can wear them all day long and walk and walk and walk without any discomfort whatsoever! Best part, Fly London shoes are all constructed to wear well and last and are unique in style!
Bought for a gift . I have a pair, love them
This is my second pair of these booties! I love how they fit. They don’t need to be “worn in” to feel just right. I love how they have a slight heel but since they are more of a platform style, I can get the feel of heels without the discomfort. I own the dark brown and black with the tie in the back and they literally go with everything! I get compliments every time I wear them. I was a little hesitatant since they cost more than any shoes I’ve bought in the past, but the quality is great and style with comfort is worth every penny! I highly recommend these!!
The awaited anticipation was worth it, the delivery time that is; 10 days approximately from the UK to New York State. I was worried, certainly, that they wouldn't fit or be comfortable. However, after about a 10 minute adjustment period (for my feet) they were very comfortable all day i walked around extensively in them (i.e. 10,000 steps according to my pedometer). I wore wool socks with a cotton liner, and my feet still had room to breath and my circulation stayed good (cold weather, diabetes, & arch problems). I had a hair cut appointment last night (the first day that i wore them) and showed them off. The hairdressers in the salon had seen a pair earlier in the day, and everyone was wanting a pair. Goodbye, Sorel. I'm done with you forever...The London Fly is Super Fly! Thanks for a sexy comfortable product, and let's see how they hold up thoug-out the year...because i tend to wear my short boot almost everyday throughout the year. If they holdup, i'll definitely be back for more. :) Thanks!A couple days later...Alright, I've removed 1/5 Stars today..the laces in the back fit over a "tongue" like they would on a pair of sneakers. But, after the first day of wearing the tongue keeps slipping to the outside of the laces and i've tried tying them all sorts of ways, and it is not working. It needs a small strap sewn to the back of the tongue to keep the laces in place on the outside. Also, i've only worn them three days and there is already wear on the soles. :(Day 4 - You see the progression of unhappiness. No matter how I tie the laces, the tongue will not stay on the inside of the plackett of laces on the back. :( I was constantly re-tyin, the shoes were slipping around and the shoe was slopping around. I walked less than 5k steps and now my arches are just killing me and my feet hurt. So...i am going to try to see if i can work to get this worked out one way or another...i don't know. it's too much money to spend for a cute boot you cant wear. Very disappointed.
