Right out of the box and onto my feet. So well made and comfortable. Wear an 8.5 and these are a 39. The fit is good and they look great on too. Comes in a beautiful box. Very happy with this purchase. I’ve been looking for Chelsea type boots and these are so comfortable with no pinching and nice arch support. Got them for everyday and for traveling.
I'm writing this review to let people know that this is a great little boot. I sent it back because it runs big. I ordered another pair of Fly London several days later that is similar in style. I ultimately went with the other boot because they fit better. This boot is amazing though. The leather is soft and it felt good on my foot. I thought about keeping both but alas I am on a budget and had to make a decision.
I was set on Doc Martens Chelsea Boots, and then came across Fly London. Doc Martens boots are trendy but heavy. These boots are SOOOO comfortable!! and just the right round toe style I like. The dark green color is perfect. Fast free shipping all the way from the UK. I have discovered a brand I will stick with from here on. Thank you!
Really love these boots. Have another pair of FLY's and they are much more comfortable than these. I bought these to wear at work on my feet and they are comfortable for about 4 hours and that's it.They look great and they are wonderful quality. They hold up well. They are true to size
I have wanted a pair of Fly boots for many years but the styles in the US where I live are limited. I searched on Amazon loved the style and the price was right. The shipment arrived a day earlier than expected from the UK and the packaging was excellent. I love these boots and especially the color & style which is different but still easy to wear.I ordered a UK 5 (I vary between a 4 & 5 based on the brand) and these are very big.....at least 1 size too big! I am a definite 4.5 (UK) in Clarks as I recently purchased 2 pairs of boots/booties and they fit perfectly. My reasoning for ordering a 5 was that I like to wear thicker socks with a boot, I like room in the toe box & this is my first pair of Fly boots so I was not 100% on the fit. I do feel these might be sized incorrectly as even a 4 would be roomy. There is very limited labeling/sizing on the boots with just a serial # with 38 (5) stamped inside the boot, so it could have been a mistake?? However, I decided not to return them as I did not want want to wait for a new delivery and also there were limited items remaining so I didn't want to miss out on these beautiful boots. So, I placed a gel insole underneath the Fly insole (which is quite thin anyway) and with thick socks they fit. So I have extra cushioning and they do not look big on my frame.....I tend to like chunky boots and shoes anyway. I now have extra cushioning and expect to be wearing these for many years. I also like the fact that these are made in Portugal. I would buy again but be a little more cautious on the sizing. If this was not an International purchase and I could have returned them in the US I would have done. That's my honest review, I hope it helps someone else or maybe the seller.
These are great quality boots, very comfortable. The shank is slightly shift but I think it will break in. Based on the pictures I expected the green of the leather to be brighter and more olive. As you can see from my photos the boots look black in some lights and the green is bluer/more emerald in bright light. Overall a great boot.
Quality craftsmanship and materials. The shape lends itself to the natural shape of the human foot, unlike most fashionable boots. Comfortable! I ordered a size larger than need so that I can put shearling orthotics into them. A classic boot which I am sure I will wear for many years.
As a Prime member, I ordered several different pairs of boots to try on. These are nice boots, but the toe box was uncomfortable for my toes. I did not notice that this was an international seller when I placed the order, but I've never any had problems returning items with Amazon.So I tried them on for half a minute, and then immediately put them back in their box. The return process was an unexpected hassle that required printing a bunch of papers and going to the FedEx store to ship them back to the UK.Now, the seller is refusing to refund my order, because they claim the boots are no longer in "sellable condition"?!! To be honest, I did not inspect the boots closely, but they appeared to be in brand new condition when I received them, (although the box looked beat up). They've offered to ship the boots back to me. But again, they weren't comfortable, so I don't want them. This is unacceptable, I feel like I'm being scammed by this seller.
