Well, I got this pair in black when they were on sale! So.... I got 2 pairs and also got the 3rd pair for my co-workers when they saw me wearing them. They are cute, comfy and can stand on them for the whole day. I found out they are quite water resistent though not water proof. Cute and chic looking! This is my 5th pair of El Naturalista shoes - I collect all their funky colors: Lime Green, Orange, Yellow, and Purple. Well - unfortunatley all other colors were sold out in this particular pair of boots - so... I got it in BLACK! Surprisingly they look really good with my pants and jeans.One drawback - you have to buy 1 size bigger. I wear 37.5-38 and I ordered 39. It fits perfectly! My experience with El Naturalista - always buy 1 size bigger (except for clogs).
I wasn't sure about the fit at first, they seemed a bit snug, but after wearing them around for a while they became more comfortable, and very cozy. I think they will be great winter boots, they're very cute on, not as clunky as I thought they would be. I think if your foot is wide at all, go for the next size up.
Absolutely love these boots. Color (red), style cuff up/cuffdown. Easily slip on and keep feet toasty warm,I would truly love to purchase another pair in a different color, but price is too steep for muliples.
I just received my first pair of El Naturalista boots & I love them!! I saw the Iggdrasil ankle boot on another website a few yrs. ago but had forgotten about them until recently, when I saw someone in the airport security line wearing them & they were super cute. I took the advice about these boots running small & am glad I did, thank you Ladies for the great tip! They are a little snug to pull on because the back of the boot is stiff, but since it's leather I know that'll ease up. And once they're on? Very, very comfortable! I normally wear a size 6 but ordered the 37 & bought them in Skimo, which is a beautiful copper color, & they look great with my jeans & other pants. My boots came with a cloth boot bag, but no cleaning or polishing cloth like one reviewer mentioned. I bought these mainly for traveling, for comfort & to make getting thru security easier, but I think I'm going to be wearing them a LOT more often than that!
I have a pair of these boots and I love them so much I hate to see the weather getting warm and dry around here. There was no "wear in time", I wore them all day the first day and had no problems. I read several reviews here and was concerned about the comment on sizing, but I just ordered my normal size and they fit perfectly. Also,unlike a review I read, I had no trouble getting them on or off even the first time. I have another pair of El Naturalista clogs and they fit great too, which is something since I have a size 10 and prefer wider fitting. I will say that the boots are snugger than the clogs but not narrow or tight on me. Anyway, I have them on right now and I believe you can order them without fear. I only wish my size was available in the red, because I'd definitely order those too.
I absolutely love these boots however, the sizing is wrong. If you wear a size nine you need a 40. size 8 a 39. This sizing is different from normal european sizing. I had to return the boots but I would get another pair as soon as possible.
El Naturalista is another brand I love for footwear. Interesting styling, organic manufacturing and just plain fun to wear. Also, I have ankle and knee problems and these fit beautifully.
I ordered the boots in size 8 after trying on that size owned by a friend. When my order arrived, i struggled to get the boots on. I have no idea why they didn't fit as well as my friend's.
