I got the 37 (about a 6.5) in the black, which is what I normally wear in a boot since I wanted to wear thicker socks and I have a higher arch (I generally wear a US 6 in street shoes). These accommodate my high arch and even allow me to put my insoles in for a more comfortable fit. The insoles are removable and the boot has been water resistant as advertised (I even ran around in six inches of sloppy snow last weekend and they didn't leak). I wish these were a finer grain leather instead of the stiff nubuck leather, but they have proven to be rugged so far and aren't getting marked up after three months of use. They are too wide in my heels but that is a common problem for me. I also wish I could tighten them a bit more around the ankle. Since I wear thick socks with them, they also don't rub on my ankle as others have mentioned, but I could see how that might be a problem. However, they are comfortable enough to put on a couple miles walking in the city and they haven't given me blisters.
Super comfortable right out of the box. I received these right before I went to Muir Woods. It was poring down rain and I walked (gingerly) through gigantic puddles of water. My feet stayed completely dry. They're cute, comfortable and very well made. I'm almost tempted to get another pair for when these are worn out, just in case, because they are great. I see these lasting for years to come though. Traction is great, but the boots are not very warm for snow. I'm a 7.5, but I generally get an 8 in boots. For these (7-7.5) fit perfect even with snowboarding socks. They fit like a glove.
I love these boots. I purchased them for a trip where we will be doing a lot of walking (based on the reviews- I did quite a bit of research before deciding on these), and have been wearing them to "break them in" but honestly, I think I could sleep in them they are that comfortable. My only issue is getting used to having something that high on my ankle, but that is me not the boot. I love the zipper on the inside so that you do not have to unlace them each time you take them on and off. I thought they would be awkward and clunky but they really are not and I have received many compliments. Definitely worth the price, I am very happy. I generally wear an 8.5 and bought the 8-8.5 - fit perfectly with light weight socks. Would buy these again!
Boots are very comfortable and well made; the zipper tho, is plastic..I hope that will last as long as the rest of the boot. Overall, very happy with them.
Returned these. They are cute, but very tight and uncomfortable for me so back they went.
I found that the boot ran a tad long so I ended up getting a half size smaller than I usually buy. It was snug I'm glad I gave them a shot because they stretched out to match my feet in less than a week. They are now really comfortable and really cute with jeans. Love them!
These shoes are AWEOME! I live in Nashville TN where we get weather from snow to rain to shine to tornados - temps from 15 - 100 and I wear these boots pretty much EVERY DAY!! They are the perfect fit for my narrow feet, they're super sturdy, have a strong grip on slippery surfaces and look stylish with any and everything I wear. I'll likely buy a backup pair in case they discontinue these. Its an investment!
Ecco is an incredible brand and these boots are exactly what I expected from this company. Very comfortable out of the box ( I got the brown ) and received many compliments on how cool they look. Love them with skinny jeans and leggings . These boots make my feet happy and when my feet are happy all is good ! Buy these boots !
