My old boots, similar style, were getting a bit worn so time for a new pair. When it's chilly here in So Cal I have to forgo my usual sandals and wear shoes or boots with socks. I like that they have a zipper on the side which makes it so much easier to get on and off. I didn't realize when I bought that they're water repellent - an added bonus. I think these are my fifth or sixth pair of Easy Spirit shoes and/or boots.

I returned twice as I was unable to find a good fit. Still might try again as it is a good looking boot and supposedly water resistant. I usually wear a 7 1/2 or 7 wide. Both were too big so that heel slipped. I might try a 6 1/2 double wide But this size was not available on Amazon, only on Easy Spirit website.
