Pros:• Comfortable - I like my shoes fitted to my foot with just a little wiggle room for my toes only, I wear a size 8 medium with a small heel and these fit perfect.• Have a low arch support if any - since I have low arches that is great and hard to find• While there isn't much cushion in the bottom, the shoes aren't uncomfortable at all. I wear these to work and out and about, and I never get to the point where I need to take them off. I truly can wear them comfortably all day.• Great design details. The brown shoes have a slight variation in color that helps make it a good looking shoe and the stitching adds an element to the design without being overwhelming. This isn't true on the black shoes. I would give a 3.5 stars for the black pair design - they are just a little to too bland.• Well constructed.Cons:• They take a while to stretch them out to get them to be a true slip on shoe. When you first start to put them on you will think they are too small, but once your foot is in them they fit perfect. Minor inconvenience in my way of thinking.I love these shoes and highly recommend them. They are worth every penny!
Get a shoe horn and DONT DESPAIR! These are tight when you first get them, as other reviewers said.I used very thin cotton socks to try them, smooth soft socks that slide easily. I put them on this morning at 7 AM and its 6:16PM now. I have forgotten all about them. THAT'S what I like in a shoe. First hour you may think they are going to be too small. Give them some time. GET YOURSELF A SHOE HORNs on ebay for under 5 bucks.. They are very easy to put on with a shoe horn. Also I ordered a wide purely because of reviews. I've never ordered a wide before. You might want to try this. My foot measure 8M and 8Ms are great in other shoes. A wide in this gives you some extra room but is not gigantic and certainly not noticeable but your toes will be a little happier if you are wide there. The shoes look TERRIFIC and thanks to the shape my feet look slimmer and smaller. the arch is minimal but it is there. I like a medium arch, I would define these as between medium and low arch. Excellent support. Probably by the time winter arrives they will have stretched out enough to wear slightly thicker socks.
I believe these will be comfortable and beautiful, and they are very very well-made, however, one of my shoes arrived with large scrapes in the leather, and now I have to send them back for an exchange. And the exchange has no date yet assigned to the delivery (?!), so who knows how long that will take. Really frustrated.😠
I am very excited to have found these shoes. I was looking for an everyday shoe with a lower block heel that works to dress up a casual outfit as well as a more dressy outfit. I like that they are leather and hope that they wear well long term. They are slightly masculine, which I personally like, but are still on the feminine side, work well with skinny pants and don't look huge (I have skinny calves). I typically wear a size 8 (depending on the fit of course) and the 8M in this shoe fit me perfectly. I have a thin foot, narrow heel and long toes, and struggle to find shoes that are snug enough in the middle (above the arch), but have a rounded toe. I'm very picky about the toes space and these have plenty of room. Reviews mention they are tight to get on, which is true, but for me it's worth it for the fit. My only complaint is when wearing lower socks, the top of the shoe rubs a little. I'm hoping my foot gets used to it or the shoes soften up. I don't seem to have a problem with it with longer socks. Hope all of this helps! I for sure know that finding the right shoe is difficult, especially online.
This is a negative review not for the shoe itself, but for the fact that the seller cannot be contacted through the order form AND for the fact that the 11 medium (which I have bought from this brand before and which fits, normally) was $48 but the 11 wide, from same seller, is $85. That's really ridiculous.Due to the way the shoe is constructed and the way my feet are constructed, I sometimes need to buy wides to accommodate the height of my foot more than the width. I bought the medium and I cannot even get my foot in past the top of my foot where it meets the ankle because the toebox on this style is very long. It's a great-looking shoe, though, and I'm sorry that I would have to pay almost double to get one that fits.
Very comfortable right away. I'm happy I read reviews and got a size larger than usual. The hard part getting on is that the opening for foot is narrow but once on they are great. No issues. I'd say not good for very wide feet. Best with socks of course with this type of shoe. Support and soft inner lining. Not shiny, which is nice, and cool sole. Hopefully they last a while!Update: I still love these shoes a year later. I use a shoehorn to get them on so I don't ruin the backs. They look great and didn't stretch. Slightly waterproof for the rain and the sole wears well, not too soft to wear down fast.
I so wanted this shoe, but I could not get it on without a shoe horn, amazing, and yes, I did get the right size. Very hard to get on, but after it was on, I liked it a lot. Felt good and looked good. I so wanted it to work, but I could not justify keeping it. Plus, getting it off was just about as hard. Could not slide it off, and I had to use both hands to wiggle it off. Just think, if you ever had to take it off for one reason or another, you couldn't get it back on unless you carried a shoe horn around with you. Just not worth it. Will look for another, similar pair. Poor design.
