Genuine leather upper and has cushioning in the foot area. Very comfortable shoes! Can't wait to wear them. I'm wearing them like regular sandals in the summer and when it gets cooler, I'm going to wear them with tights, cute ankle socks and cute knee high socks. I have narrow feet because I'm skinny so I'm going to put some more padding, some Dr. Scholls insoles in the foot area. I do this to all of my shoes and it also fixes the narrow foot problem for me so that the straps up front are nice and snug. For those with average weight you probably don't need to do this. However, I do like putting Dr Scholls in all my shoes anyways because it just makes all my shoes sooooo comfortable. I'm also glad these are leather uppers because the leather will last practically forever. Plastic or cheap fake leather won't look good after a season and no way to fix it so then you lost your money and have to buy new shoes again. What I love about leather is that it can always be fixed at a shoe repair place and they literally last like forever. I have leather shoes that are 10 years old and I just take them to get them re-heeled and repaired when necessary and they look like new! Leather shoes are the best investment because you don't have to keep buying the same type of shoes every season. Instead, I'm able to buy new styles and keep the ones I have for variety, aha ha. I love shoes!
Very comfortable and easy to wear! The straps were a little finicky but overall it is nice. You can easily walk around for a few hours before regretting your heel choices.
