One standout feature of these combat boots is the side zip closure, which allows for easy entry and exit, making them suitable for those busy mornings when time is of the essence. Coupled with a traditional lace-up design adorned with logo aglets, these boots offer a customizable fit, ensuring comfort throughout the day.

When it comes to wearing boots that can transition easily from city streets to more rugged terrain, the Cole Haan Women's CAMEA Water Proof Combat Boot truly excels. With a focus on comfort, these boots are equipped with GRAND OS technology, which provides superior cushioning. This innovative feature means you can wear them all day without discomfort, whether you're running errands or enjoying a night out.
The waterproof aspect cannot be overstated. Living in a rainy climate or encountering unexpected puddles won’t be an issue with these boots. The leather upper repels water effectively, allowing you to walk confidently without worrying about wet socks. Additionally, the flexible rubber outsole has been designed to promote traction, making them equally suitable for slippery surfaces.
In terms of design, the combination of the lace-up front with logo aglets and the side zip closure makes them a stylish choice for various outfits. The calf-high shaft offers both coverage and style, giving you versatility in pairing them with jeans, skirts, or dresses.
While they do have many advantages, potential buyers should consider that there are limited color choices, primarily focusing on classic black. Furthermore, some users have reported a slight break-in period, which is common with leather footwear. However, the long-term benefits of comfort and durability often outweigh these initial downsides.

I have wide feet. I ordered a half size larger in wide so I could wear with heavier socks. These fit like a glove. I wore them out to see Christmas lights where I was doing a lot of walking and they were very comfortable.
It took me weeks to find the waterproof boots I needed for a good price. I wore these the entire time on my trip to Scotland and they held up well. They also matched my outfits beautifully! It took a litte breaking in but I walked a handful of miles in these everyday so they broke in fast. I do wish they had softer insoles, but I can just add some in. It rained everyday there so the waterproof aspect did well! These with a combination of wool socks kept my feet warm and dry. They do scuff easy if you aren't careful though. Other than that, love these boots.
As other reviews said, these really do run small. I haven’t had an issue with other Cole Haan shoes, but these boots were very tight. I couldn’t wear them with my usual wool boot socks, and I don’t want to size up even more or the length will be wrong. I’m disappointed but I’ll be returning these and trying something else. Otherwise the soles are comfortable and they’re nice looking, but they’re already a pretty chunky boot style and I think going even bigger would give a “clown shoes” look, so this isn’t the style for me.
I love Cole Hahn shoes. They are comfortable and well crafted. I love the style. Yes I would buy Cole Hahn again.
Absolutely beautifully sewn boots with nice leather. The insole is nice & supportive, too. The 8 1/2 fit as 8 1/2 boots should. They were, like so many other combat boots this season, just too big & heavy for me. The sole is 3/4" thick, a bit chunky for walking around Europe on cobblestone streets, and the heel measures 1 3/4" on the exterior of the boot. My old boots have a 1/2" sole and that is just the right thickness. The boot comes up higher on the ankle, too, so it will be hotter to wear, trapping more heat, in the spring & fall. It also has those darn zippers, adding more bulk down the side. I guess people can't be bothered to tie shoes anymore? I prefer boots that just cover the ankle joints. The biggest issue is how heavy these boots are. One boot weighs 16.8 ounces (a little over 1 lb) or 475 grams. My old boots weighed 12.7 ounces or 360 grams. These are sturdy & well made boots, so if you're looking for a little of this year's (in my opinion unfortunate) chunky boot style without the 1" or 1 1/4" inflexible "tripper" sole, these might be for you. If you are like me & like supportive boots with rounded toes & good traction, without the thick soled, higher-than-ankle work boot look, especially in a size 8, you're out of luck this year!
So on trend and very comfy.I’m a teacher and wear these daily. Get tons of compliments from students coworkers and random people out and about.Love them!
I returned these because of comfort. They felt cheap
