When it comes to finding the perfect balance between fashion and function, the Chaco Women's Fields Chelsea Waterproof Boot stands out. Its rich rust suede adds a touch of elegance, while the robust waterproof features make it a practical choice for unpredictable weather. What truly sets this boot apart is its women's specific LUVSEAT PU midsole, which provides exceptional arch support and cushioning, making every step feel lighter.
The non-marking ChacoGrip rubber compound ensures you stay grounded on slick surfaces, thanks to its skid-resistant tread design. The boot's ankle-high shaft not only offers a secure fit but also maintains an effortlessly fashionable silhouette that pairs beautifully with both jeans and dresses.
However, be mindful that while the Fields Chelsea boot is incredibly comfortable, some users have noted a slight break-in period required for optimal comfort. Additionally, if you prefer ultra-light footwear, you might find these a bit heftier than expected. Overall, whether you're navigating through a rain-soaked street or taking a leisurely stroll in the park, the Chaco Women's Fields Chelsea Boot is equipped to handle it all with style and grace.

I adore these boots. I have a high arch, narrow heel, but require a slightly wide toe box. I was hesitant because other reviewers said their heels were lifting, causing blisters. My heel also lifts a bit but the shoe overall is so comfortable and attractive I decided to give them a shot. I wore thicker socks in the beginning to break the shoe in and avoid blistering - it was a success! No blisters and I wear the boots with normal weight socks now. The boots are a bit snug but fit true to size for me (size 7).
I love these boots! I wanted a chelsea boot that could be worn everywhere, in any weather, and have found them. They are a great looking boot, and while I have only had them a short while, I am confident they will live up to all the good reviews. With an amazing arch support, they were comfortable all day and I didn’t even need a break in period. My only caveat, is that they are generously sized. I am a 7-1/2 - 8 and went with the 7-1/2. I could have easily gone for a 7. Since I will be wearing them with boot socks, it isn’t going to be an issue, but I would size down if ordering, try them out as a “try before you buy” purchase in case you find the fit does not work.
I’ve had these for over a year and I believe they will last me a very long time. I have plantar fasciitis and am a teacher, so I need arch support and the built in arch support in these boots works well for me. Also I like that the toe box is wider than most ankle boots I’ve had. I’m very happy that these boots are stylish and good for my feet. They can be dressed up or down. They get get scruff marks but that’s because they are real leather.
Since a WW wasn't available with this, I was pleased to find that a regular fit me ok. I needed to stretch them a little, which wasn't too difficult. They have removable insoles if you prefer to use a different one, but I will say that the one included has a surprisingly decent arch support. One major complaint: the heel area is really wide. My heels slip up a little as I walk. They don't rub or hurt, but it does give these boots a "loose rain boot" kind of feeling. I hope the slipping will subside once these are broken in and shaped to my foot, but if not, I found that thicker socks help a little. Also, if they're a little bit wet, they are quite slippery on smooth concrete or tile. Pretty surprising for Chacos.
I don’t usually spend this amount on shoes but I am so happy I went ahead and purchased these Chelsea boots. They are very comfortable and have great arch support which I definitely need. I highly recommend these for anyone needing more support but wanting a cute and stylish shoe.
The boots were really cute. They fit lengthwise, but too wide and roomy in the ankle area. I sent them back because not comfortable for longer amount of time.
I purchased these boots to prep for a trip to Scotland and I only wanted to take one pair of shoes/boots. After researching, these always came up for waterproof and overall comfort and durability. I’m glad I got them early to break them in. I think socks past the ankle might be better, but willing to try with no show socks. Arch support and fit of a size 7 is perfect and what I normally wear. UPDATE Don't give up on these boots!!! worth the time and effort to break them in. i also purchased silicone toe covers for my little toes to get past them being red, but never had any blisters. no more toe covers needed - found the perfect socks and I LOVE THESE BOOTS - very comfortable, but you have to break them in like any good leather boot
I really wanted to love these boots! They are beautiful, quite well made, and arrived in pristine condition! I have two pairs of Chaco sandals and I appreciate the wonderful arch support in them. I wear size 8 in most shoes, but a size 7 in Chacos sandals. So, I thought a size 7.5 would work in these boots and the length was perfect as was the arch support. However, the toe box area was so tight across the top that from the arches of my feet to the ends of my toes felt like they were being laterally compressed. They are super easy to put on and to remove which was good, but also meant there was a lot of heel movement that scrunched my socks within a few steps. I wore them in my house for an hour to see if they might stretch even a little but they did not. Maybe they might have with more wear, but I just did not want to take that chance. I was surprised because I have very average width feet and don't buy wide versions of shoes. I was bummed to have to return them.
