Omg love the look of these and if I wasn’t using them for horse riding would pair them with cute outfits. Comfy on the bottom, but still going to swap with something with more support. Originally a little tight, but with a few wears has loosened up. Def buying more in the future. Also got a cute leather keychain when I registered on their site,
This is my second pair of these boots. They are comfortable for walking around in when you are not actually on a horse. My only complaint was they were supposed to be wide but they were not really that wide and it took awhile to break them in. At first they cut off circulation in my foot and I could not wear them for very long. Now that they are getting broke in I like them a lot more.
I have had a pair of these for years (at least 5 years) and wear them for barn chores every day. I have gone through a couple of pairs of laces, but that is expected. The boots have worn great! Far better than expected! You would probably guess that the reason you would need to replace them would be wearing through the sole or maybe the sole separating from the upper. Nope. I actually wore a hole through the leather of the toe of the right boot!! I have "patched" the hole and still wear the old pair but I wanted a backup pair for rainy days. These are rugged boots. They hold up great with minimal maintenance. I clean and condition them when I do my saddles, which is not too often but probably helped prolong their life. My old pair was a 7.5 and that is the size I ordered in the new ones but they ended up being too big. Thanks to Amazon's easy (and free!) returns, I was able to get the 7's at no extra cost and they fit great. Like others have mentioned, the fringed tongue things are removable, and that is the first thing I did on the new ones. This is an excellent quality boot for a great price! I expect these boots to last me at least 5 years like the others did. Breaking it down, that is ~$20 a year for boots! That's a bargain! Granted, they don't look the same after 5 years, but they are perfectly functional and the horses don't care what my boots look like!!
Must wear these in. Not for people who have foot issues
A fan of Ariat's heritage lacer from 10-15 years ago. Work in an office; wear them everyday. Very comfortable. Unfortunately can only get them in brown. Wish Ariat would bring back the boot in black and rust/burgundy. Because it's been a while since I bought the Heritage Lacer, I had to buy the boot in several sizes and widths to see what fit best. Found out they run narrower than normal. Ended up keeping the boot in wide width and a half size bigger than I normally would.
So far these boots are comfortable. They are lightweight so they don't make my legs hurt. Only bought Arita because Justin discontinued their boot that's similar to this. Hope the Ariat last as long as my Justin's did (just over 10 years)
I was so very disappointed Ariat for not understanding that wide should mean the shoe is wider!! I do not have wide feet & I take a normal width is all shoes but Ariat!! 16 years ago I bought a pair of Ariat riding boots in the normal width, and I was trying to get a new pair, but ALL the Ariat women styles that I tried on were to narrow!! I finally went to a men Ariat boot, and found it was wide enough.
I had originally ordered these boots in a size 7w but i read the reviews that said that might be too big and decided to cancel my order. Luckily the staff at wild west helped me get a new size without having to cancel the order. I ended up receiving a 6.5 non wide and they fit perfectly. They fit a bit tight as is expected from leather because they are brand new right now but they have amazing arch support and are of great quality.
