Purchased the black and they are incredible… sizing is perfect.. the leather is exquisite and they are so comfortable from the first wear.
If you read nothing else in this review, read this: as with most cowboy/western boots, please size up 1 full size if you want an out-of-the-box perfect fit (with socks). Yes, these are real leather, so they will eventually stretch and form to your foot a bit. I only went up a half size and have to wear thin dress socks with them until they stretch out.Now on to the lengthier review:My grandmother always told me "it's better to spend more money and buy a quality product once, than to spend less and buy a cheaper product many times over." Her wisdom directly applies to shoes, and especially these boots. I've purchased many a pair of cheap knockoff, man-made, faux leather boots. It's never done me any favors. They're uncomfortable, they never form to your foot, and they fall apart way too quickly.I finally bit the bullet and paid the ~$100 for these name brand, real leather, high quality boots. And let me tell you, the second I put them on, I actually teared up! They're quite literally the most comfortable things I've ever worn. I have problematic feet, but I feel like I could walk the world in these boots. I have extremely large calves, but they actually fit them perfectly! They hug my feet and support my arches perfectly, they're unbelievably flattering, and they will last me for years and years to come.If you're considering buying these boots, please, do yourself a favor, don't hesitate!!! Even though the price has gone up, they are still worth every penny. Your feet will thank you!
These fine leather boots are supportive and so good looking. To break them in, I wore them around the house for a couple of hours two days in a row, and I quickly forgot I even had them on. The insole is nicely padded and has good arch support. If you have short toes and blunt feet like I do, pointed shoes are often a misery. LPT: These boots are perfectly comfortable for us hobbit-footed folks after a quick fix: Fill the toe point with some cotton batting to keep your foot from sliding forward into the point. Then wear tall wool socks during the brief break-in period. (You could try cotton balls pulled apart into halves or thirds, but cotton batting is softer because drug-store "cotton balls" are usually not actually cotton.) Keep some handy for all your boots and elongated shoes!I just wore them to the big-box store and for two hours never once thought about my feet in their adorable red cowgirl boots.
Exactly as described! Immediately got compliments the 1st time I wore them. Toe box is obviously narrow due to being pointed toes, not too bad. Will be easy to "break in." Was able to wear whole night 1st time out without too much discomfort.
Love the toe. Not too rounded or pointy. The v in front makes them so comfy! Great color!
I love the color and the quality of these boots. They are very well made. However, I had to return them because they are too narrow. I'm disappointed because I was so excited to get them. I like that they are not a full boot.
Had brand before. Excellent fit.
I have Ariat Delilah square toe boots and wanted a dressier boot in black. My Delilahs are a size 8.5, so I decided to go with 9 based upon reviews and the fact it had a more pointed toe. They fit perfectly! I do wear a lightweight thin sock with them. They are stiff when you first put them on, but after a couple wearing they relax a bit. I think they are very comfortable and look great with boot cut jeans, leggings, skirts, etc.
