This L19 bootie is probably the 4th or 5th I have purchased over the years. In the fall and winter, even into spring, I wear them daily because they are so comfortable and oddly enough fashionable. I've had many compliments on the navy, the snakeskin ("creative"), the bronze, even the black ones, although they are the least interesting. The arch support is firm to hard, which I like a lot, and the boot is so lightweight, it packs easily for overseas trips. I spray them to make them water resistant and wash them in the machine when they look shabby. Great addition to the shoe closet!
This is my second pair of these boots. I like them so much they’re comfortable and stylish.
Stylish and comfortable.
From the first moment I put them on they felt great. They are stylish and go with everything. This is my second pair.
Unlike other boots, especially leather, these actually let your feet move without being stiff. They’re soft and allow pants to be inside or outside the top. I like the softness too.
This is one of the best shoe purchases I've ever made. I got these because I needed a lightweight but supportive boot to wear during a recent 3-week trip to Europe during which I was walking, on average, 4-7 miles a day over very uneven pavement and (no joke) miles of cobblestones. I need arch support, and because of the extensive walking, needed something lightweight as well. But because there could be rain, I wanted a boot with a little protection from moisture. I own a pair of Arcopedico shoes, which have worked like a dream, so thought these might as well. They SAVED my trip -- especially on the cobblestones. They have a slipper-like feel, with an excellent arch support. But because of the slipper-like feel, my feet were able to negotiate all the uneven walking surfaces with total ease. I ended up wearing these more than my super-fabulous walking shoes. The added bonus is, these LOOK kind of hip and mod. ;-) I couldn't be happier. Oh-- and it should be noted: because the shaft of the boot is collapsible, and they ARE so lightweight, they "folded" nicely into my compact suitcase, and took up hardly any space, adding very little weight. I do not work for Arcopedico. I have no vested interest in writing a review that is anything less than 100% honest. These will be my go-to shoes on all future trips. A+.
I only review when I’m super happy or some thing is super bad. These boots from Arcapedico are made as you would expect from a well-known maker of supportive and decently fashionable shoes. They are fabric but they look like Matte leather. The very first time I wore them I went out dancing. They are like slippers with excellent arch support and stable platform. I can walk a mile in them if I need to. I haven’t worn them in the rain but my friend says they’re not good in the rain, and you wouldn’t want to coat them with anything since the chemical would come through the fabric to your skin. The soles are plastic so the soles won’t get wet if there’s just a little bit of rain. They don’t stretch out my friend said, and she’s had two pairs over the last four years. She says they last very well, the fabric does not wear down easily. I can wear these with casual skirts or pants. They’re also very lightweight so they would be great for traveling (if you’re not expecting rain). yes they may seem a bit expensive considering that they’re not leather but they are well-made. I would not advise them for wide feet.
I love these boots! They’re so cute and comfortable and lightweight! The bronze color is perfect…sort of a brown with a little wash of gold mixed in. Even though they are made of manmade materials, they have the feel of leather. I have a corn on my little toe that can be quite painful in mist shoes from the pressure, but these boots are so roomy, they don’t cause any pain. If you have any foot issues at all, these boots support your feet like you’re walking on clouds.
