Love the comfort factor of Alegria does, do I decided to give in and order these boots. If your not used to European sizing, make sure to check the chart. I'm normally a 9-1/2, so I ordered the 40, (same as the shoes) but they were much too loose. Sent them back and the 39 is perfect! They are beautiful boots, so before wearing them I treated them with Bicks leather conditioner to keep them looking new and to waterproof.They are incredibly comfortable. Wore them grocery shopping with no break in period needed.I'll probably order another color.
Very well made and stylish. They're comfortable out of the box, I didn't need to break them in.Alegrias are perfect for people who have bunions. The toe box is roomy and comfortable and the construction takes pressure off of the toes and ball of the foot. They have as much cushioning/shock absorption as you're going to find in a shoe.
I am a fan of this brand. I have back and knee issues but find much comfort wearing Alegria footwear. The style is right for me. I am a 6.5 wide at the ball. I bought a 36. I have 37s also and can wear thicker socks with them. The craftsmanship is en pointe. I am slightly skeptical about the trim, specifically the strap. It is very thin and looks to be pleather... it's hard to tell. If it breaks I will revamp this review. As of now, I give the boots a 5 star rating!

I bought these for a "too good to be true" price here in Amazon Warehouse. The boots look perfect in every way, and they are lovely. BUT -- no insoles. That's the whole thing about Alegria shoes -- the insoles make the shoe. So, I have to return them. The price was great, but not great enough to buy a $40 pair of insoles.
Love the boots! The first time I ordered, it took a while to actually ship and the left boot was bigger than the right even though they were the same size. Maybe there was a problem with the padding inside.Second order brought perfectly fitting boots. Shipping was unexpectedly fast, which was a delightful surprise!!!
